WEATHER ALERT: Severe weather impacts blood supply

May 21, 2019 - Devastating flooding, tornadoes and canceled blood drives across our region have severely impacted Arkansas Blood Institute’s supply of lifesaving blood.  Blood donors are needed urgently to help rebuild the inventory.  The need for blood is constant and our crews must still transport blood to save patients’ lives.  Blood must be available, and on our shelves, before and after storms hit.

Please consider taking just an hour of your time to give blood at a donor center near you.  Or make your lifesaving appointment now at yourbloodinstitute.org or by calling 877-340-8777
